Women's soccer shuts out Gallaudet on the road

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Penn State Berks women's soccer team picked up a 10-0 victory on the road over Gallaudet University in an United East contest on Saturday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions improve to 9-3-2 overall and 5-0-1 in the United East, while the Bison drop to 0-10 on the season and 0-6 in conference play.

Emily Clapper netted a hat trick, while Diana Pon (assist) and Violet O'Donald both tallied a pair of goals. Adriana Lepera and Jeyda Duran both had one goal and three assists, while Katherine Baysinger chipped in a goal and two assists. Maya Dolan dished out two assists, Morgan Kline added one.

Sophia Gonzalez finished with one save to earn the shutout win, while Lillian Nelson made 10 stops for the Bison.

The Nittany Lions will host No. 4 ranked Johns Hopkins University in a non-conference contest on Wednesday, October 19 at 7 p.m.
