WBB topped on the road by SUNY Morrisville

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team dropped an 98-27 decision on the road to SUNY Morrisville in an United East conference contest on Wednesday night.

Abby Ackley led Berks with nine points after shooting 4-of-10 from the floor. Sam Hagenbush, Kayla Zelonka, and Marissa Pyatt each chipped in six points. Zelonka pulled down a team-high nine rebounds, followed by Ackley with eight and Maddie Motze with seven. Motze handed out a team-high three assists, while Katie Davis had one.

Rachel Viera led the Mustangs with 21 points, followed by Dezia Becker with 17 and Abby VandeWalker with 16.

The Nittany Lions will take on Wells College on Friday, January 21 at 7 p.m.
