Volleyball falls to F&M on the road

LANCASTER, PA - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision on the road to Franklin & Marshall College in non-conference action on Wednesday night at the Mayser Center.

The Diplomats won by scored of 25-19, 25-16, and 25-8 to claim the victory.

Makenzie Shoop had a team-high five kills, followed by Cassie Shoupe with four and Adriana Leon-Vazquez with three. Madison Hetrick dished out 13 assists and snagged three digs. Shoop also recorded six digs, four assists and a solo block.

The Nittany Lions will host Alvernia University and Goucher College in a tri-match on Saturday. Berks will play Alvernia at 11 a.m. and finish up with Goucher at 3 p.m.
