Men's golf places 8th at Ursinus Invitational

LIMERICK, PA - The Penn State Berks men's golf team finished eighth out of 10 competing teams at the Ursinus College Fall Invitational on the par-71, 6370-yard Raven's Claw Golf Course. (Results)

The Nittany Lions collected a team score of 335, which was five strokes ahead of Neumann College (340). Moravian University had the top two individual performers en route to a team championship with a 295. Rosemont College followed with a 304 and Alvernia University finished third with at 313.

Dylan DeSchamp was the top golfer for Berks after carding an 83 to finish tied for 30th out of 57 participants. Trevor Dydo, Drew Morris, and Gunnar Wegscheider all shot an 84, which placed them tied for 34th. Derek Jopp rounded out the Nittany Lion golfers, placing tied for 40th with an 86.

The Nittany Lions will compete in the Alvernia Fall Invitational on Tuesday, October 5 at 12 p.m.
