Women's soccer falls to Elizabethtown

ELIZABETHTOWN, PA - The Penn State Berks women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision on the road to Elizabethtown College in non-conference action on Saturday evening at Ira R. Herr Field.

The Blue Jays got on the board with a free kick at the 41:21 mark of the first half. They tacked on a pair of goals a little over two minutes apart in the 68th and 70th minutes.

Jeyda Duran put two shots on goal and four others had one, but none could find the back of the net.

Savannah McNeal recorded three saves in net for Berks, while Trinity Soto had five and Adrienne McGallicher had one for the Blue Jays.

The Nittany Lions will begin United East Conference action with a game at Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday, September 22 at 6:30 p.m.
