MBB drops road contest to Abington

ABINGTON, PA - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team fell on the road to Penn State Abington, 94-51, in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) South Division contest on Wednesday evening.

Berks trailed 42-22 at halftime and the deficit only grew larger as Abington topped Berks 52-29 in the second half.

RJ Dixon had a team-high 11 points, followed by Jared Houck with 10 and Xavian Rodriguez with seven. Matt Martin chipped in six points, while Aaron Harrison and Isaiah Baskerville both had five. Hassan Koroma and Mohamed Coulibaly tied for the team lead with three rebounds apiece.

Mark Davis had a game-high 19 points for Abington, while John Ryan added 18 and Alex Podolski had 12. Bobby Olsen pulled down a contest-high nine rebounds.

The Nittany Lions will host SUNY Cobleskill in a NEAC contest on Saturday, February 15 at 1 p.m. Prior to the start of the game, Berks will honor Rene Alexandre and Hassan Darby for Senior Day.
