Men's basketball topped by Harrisburg

MIDDLETOWN, PA - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team suffered an 89-67 setback on the road to Penn State Harrisburg in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) South Division contest on Saturday afternoon.

Harrisburg led 49-26 at halftime, while Berks held a 41-40 advantage in the second half, but the early deficit was too much to overcome.

Jared Houck made four 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 20 points to go along with three rebounds. Xavian Rodriguez chipped in 13 points, followed by Steve Luchansky with 11 points and four assists. Hassan Koroma added eight points and a team-high eight boards.

Nate Curry led Harrisburg with 16 points, followed by Chris Hanes with 15. Zegary Scott finished with a contest-high 12 assists.

Berks will host Penn State Abington in a NEAC South contest on Tuesday, January 28 at 6 p.m.
