Vollyeball drops home match to York College

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference home match with York College, 3-0, on Tuesday night at the Beaver Community Center.

The Nittany Lions (6-8) fell by game scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-21 to the Spartans (7-8).

Natalie Dwyer led the Berks offensive attack with 10 kills, followed by Zoe Barna with nine. Blair Eckel and Julia Rathsam each had a team-high eight digs, while Marie Durkota and Dwyer both had six. Rathsam handed out 28 assists to put her at 402 for the season. Durkota recorded a pair of aces, while Dwyer and Jenna Plitnick each had one.

The Nittany Lions will host a tri-match on Saturday, September 28. They open up the day against Immaculata University at 10 a.m. and will face Lancaster Bible College in a NEAC tilt at 2 p.m.
