Women's volleyball falls on the road to Neumann

ASTON, PA - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 setback on the road to Neumann University in a non-conference contest on Tuesday evening.

The Nittany Lions (5-5) fell by scored of 25-20, 25-18, and 25-16.

Natalie Dwyer led Berks with nine kills, while Blair Eckel chipped in five. Eckel had a team-high 18 digs, followed by Julia Rathsam with 12 and Dwyer with 11. Rathsam also handed out 20 assists and recorded a pair of service aces. Sarah Nichols registered two block assists and four others players notched one block assist.

The Nittany Lions return to action with their NEAC opener at Penn College on Thursday, September 19 at 7 p.m.
