Men's basketball downed by Morrisville State

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team fell on the road to Morrisville State, 105-62, in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Crossover contest on Sunday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions trailed 46-37 at halftime, but the Mustangs offense exploded for 59 points in the second half to secure the win.

Latrell Carroll led the Nittany Lions with 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the floor. The freshman guard also had six rebounds, one assist, and one blocked shot. Matt Seip chipped in 22 points to go along with a team-high seven boards and four assists. Monty Farmer chipped in seven points and three boards, while Rene Alexandre had a pair of 3-pointers and finished with six points.

Brison Hall led the Mustangs with 19 points, followed by Kevin Dennis with 18 and Tyrin Miller with 15. Dennis also brought down a game-high 11 rebounds, while Lamel Faison dished out a contest-best seven assists.

The Nittany Lions will host Penn College in their home finale on Wednesday, February 13 at 8 p.m. Prior to the game, Matt Seip will be honored for Senior Day.
