Women's soccer tops SUNY Cobleskill

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's soccer team defeated SUNY Cobleskill, 13-0, in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Sunday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions improved to 6-3-1 overall and 6-0 in the NEAC, while the Fighting Tigers drop to 4-6 on the season and 1-4 in league play.

Caitlin Golden and Monica Pinel both recorded four goals to lead the offensive attack. Alexis Schoener chipped in two goals and assist, while Emily Clapper and Alexa Lopez each recorded on goal. Megan Jardine matched a career-high with three assists, followed by Charlotte Pizzuto with two. Jess Mandeville, Karina Raykova, Shelby Baker, and Clapper all handed out one assist.

Bristol Pizzuto and Rylee Milligan split time in net to record the teams seventh shutout of the season.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Elizabethtown College for a non-conference contest on Tuesday, October 2 at 7 p.m.
