Women's soccer tops Saint Elizabeth

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's soccer team picked up a 12-0 victory over the College of Saint Elizabeth in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Friday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions improve to 3-2-1 overall and 3-0 in the NEAC, while the Eagles fall to 2-3 on the season and 0-3 in league action.

Caitlin Golden led the offensive attack with three goals, which was her second hat-trick in the last three contests. Emily Clapper notched a season-high two goals and handed out one assist, while JoJo Zolli also had two goals. Alexa Lopez registered one goal and dished out a career-high three assists, followed by Jess Mandeville with one goal and two assists. Monica Pinel, Shelby Baker, and Megan Jardine all netted one goal. Julia Green, Karina Raykova, and Ryann Barreto all added an assist.

Bristol Pizzuto and Rylee Milligan split time in net to combine on the shutout win.

The Nittany Lions will host Gallaudet University in a NEAC contest on Saturday, September 22 at 1 p.m.
