READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team suffered an 86-74 setback to Drew University in a non-conference contest at the Beaver Community Center on Tuesday evening.

The Nittany Lions came out strong and led 15-11 after the first quarter, but the Rangers ended up taking a 38-37 lead into the halftime intermission. Drew outscored the Nittany Lions by a 31-20 margin in the third quarter to build a 12 point advantage going into the final period. In the fourth, Berks cut its deficit to single-digits multiple times, but were unable to get any closer than eight points down the rest of the way.

Kaitlyn Armstrong notched her first double-double with the Nittany Lions after recording 16 points (7-of-12 shooting from the floor) and a contest-high 12 rebounds. The sophomore forward also had five assists, one blocked shot, and one steal on the evening.

Kylie Herman led the offensive attack with a game-high 22 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the floor. The junior guard was a perfect 4-for-4 from the foul line to help her finish with a season best in scoring. Elise Paskowski turned in a solid performance down low for the Nittany Lions. The junior forward matched a career-high in scoring with her 14 point effort and came up one rebound short of posting a double-double after grabbing nine boards.

The Rangers were led by Erin Frederick with 20 points, followed by Julia Ramos and Hailey Stine with 18 apiece. Ramos also handed out eight assists and tallied four blocked shots, while Cecelia Kracht had three swatted shots herself.
