Volleyball earns NEAC win over Wilson

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team earned a 3-0 win over Wilson College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Saturday afternoon at the Beaver Community Center.

The Nittany Lions improve to 5-7 overall and 3-0 in the NEAC South Division, while the Phoenix drop to 0-9 on the year and 0-3 in the division.

Alexis Horst led the offensive attack with 11 kills on 19 attacks and finished with a .474 attack percentage. Megan Lackman, who had a team-high six of the teams 17 service aces, also smacked seven kills without committing any errors and had an .583 attack percentage. Lackman also added six digs. Madison Wojciechowski had a contest-high 16 digs, while Lauren Wright recorded a career-best seven digs. Morgan Schwartz handed out 20 assists and Wojciechowski had two. Amia Boone had two solo blocks, while Abbie Carr had one solo block and two block assists. Wojciechowski chipped in five service aces, followed by Laken Bankert with four.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Ursinus College for a non-conference contest on Tuesday, September 26 at 7 p.m.
