Women's volleyball swept on the road by E-Town

ELIZABETHTOWN, PA - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team had its two-game winning streak snapped after dropping a 3-0 decision to Elizabethtown College in a non-conference match on Saturday afternoon at Thompson Gymnasium.

The Nittany Lions, who dropped to 3-7 on the year, fell in the first game by a score of 25-9. Berks was much more competitive in the second game, but ultimately were topped by the Blue Jays (5-3) 25-20. E-Town then finished off the sweep with a 25-12 victory in the third game.

Megan Lackman finished with a team-high seven kills, while Alexis Horst add six and Abbie Carr had four. Madison Wojciechowski had 11 digs, followed by Horst and Lackman with nine each. Morgan Schwartz dished out 23 assists, while Carr recorded three block assists and Maddy Kessler added two.

The Nittany Lions will host Penn State Brandywine in a non-conference contest on Thursday, September 21 at 7 p.m.
