READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team turned in a solid all around performance to claim a 3-0 sweep over Lancaster Bible College in the Nittany Lions conference opener at Beaver Community Center on Tuesday evening.

They then held off the Chargers (2-4, 1-1 NEAC) in the second game, which ended 25-21 in Berks' favor. The home squad finished off the victory by a 25-18 count in the third game.

Abbie Carr led the offense with a season-high 10 kills, while committing just one error and finishing with a .474 attack percentage. Alexis Horst chipped in nine kills and recorded 17 digs, which trailed Madison Wojciechowski's contest-best 20 digs and Megan Lackman's 18. Laken Bankert also reached double digits in digs with 11. Amia Boone came through clutch with six kills, many of which put an end to an attempted Charger rally.
