Women's basketball falls in non-conference action to Drew

MADISON, N.J. - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team fell to Drew University, 75-37, in a non-conference contest on Tuesday night at Baldwin Gymnasium.

The Nittany Lions (1-2) started out slow and were unable to play catch up against the host Rangers (3-0).

Kylie Herman and Melissa Martin tied for the team lead with nine points each, followed by Deanna Daddona with seven and Sam Brensinger with six. Abbie Carr, who recorded four points, pulled down a team-high nine rebounds, while Herman had seven. Herman also led the Nittany Lions with three steals, while Brensinger and Daddona both had two.

Hailey Stine led all scorers with 12 points, followed by Erin Frederick and Moe Davis Campbell with 11 apiece. Bree Scotti led the Rangers with eight boards and Campbell added seven.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Penn State Brandywine for a non-conference contest on Monday, November 27 at 7 p.m.
