Women's soccer sweeps Wilson during regular season finale

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's soccer team earned its season-high sixth straight victory with a 15-0 win over Wilson College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Saturday afternoon.

With the win, the Nittany Lions finish the regular season with a 12-5-1 overall record and perfect 10-0 mark in conference action. Berks finishes as the NEAC Regular Season Champion and has earned the No. 1 seed in the South Division. They will now host a NEAC Quarterfinal Round contest against South Division No. 4 seed Penn State Abington.

Monica Pinel had a career-day after recording four goals and three assists for 11 points, which rank as the third most in a single-game in program history. Melissa Martin notched a hat-trick, while Shelby Baker and Caitlin Golden (two assists) each had two goals. Megan Jardine and Gabby Crawford both tallied a goal and an assist, while Jess Mandeville and Alexa Lopez each had one goal. Mackenzie Fredricks and Julia Green added two assists, while Sarah McMullen and Amanda McCormick both added one helper.

Paige Elmy and Kaylee Frapaul split time in goal to share the shutout victory.

The Nittany Lions will host Abington in the quarterfinal round on Tuesday, October 31 at 4:30 p.m.
