Women's basketball falls on the road Wells College

AURORA, N.Y. - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team dropped a decision to Wells College, 100-58, in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Saturday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions fall to 4-9 overall and 4-7 in the NEAC, while the Express improve to 5-9 on the season and 4-5 in conference.

Berks had three players score in double figures, led by Deanna Daddona with with 18 points. Sam Huggins notched her sixth double-double of the season after scoring 16 points and bringing down a contest-high 15 rebounds. Sam Brensinger chipped in 12 points to go along with five boards and two assists. Elise Paskowski added six points and 10 rebounds, while Britt Weiss had six points and six boards.

Ashida Cooper led the Express with 37 points, followed by Shelby Medovich with 18 and Carley Ryan with 13.

The Nittany Lions continue their road trip in New York with a NEAC contest at Keuka College on Sunday, January 29 at 1 p.m.
