Men's basketball drop road contest to Wilson

CHAMBERSBURG, PA - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team dropped its road match, 86-77, to Wilson College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) South Division contest on Friday evening.

The Nittany Lions (8-15, 8-9 NEAC) trailed 41-39 at halftime and were able to work ahead to a one-point lead (67-66) with 5:45 left in regulation, marking the first lead for Berks since 39-38 with 13 seconds left in the opening period. The Phoenix went on a 20-10 run the rest of the way to earn secure the win.

Baba Waples led th Nittany Lions with 25 points in a season-high 39 minutes of action. Michael Aldridge pulled down his 10th career double-double after recording 15 points and 15 rebounds. Dameon Nixon added 13 points, seven boards, and three boards, while Joel Ellison had six points and 10 rebounds. Monte Stokes grabbed a season-high six rebounds in 11 minutes of action.

Keion Adams led Wilson with 29 points and 16 rebounds, while Marqwon Wynn added 27 points.

The Nittany Lions will cap off their regular season with a NEAC contest at Gallaudet University on Saturday, February 20 at 1 p.m.
