Second half surge leads LBC past Nittany Lions

LANCASTER, PA - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team overcame a slow start to the game, but another cold stretch in the second half led Lancaster Bible College to a 103-84 victory in Friday night's North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) South Division contest.

The Nittany Lions (2-6, 2-2 NEAC) stumbled out of the gate, trailing 13-0 just 2:30 into the contest, but Berks battled back and eventually took a 30-29 lead with 8:22 left in the half. The two teams exchanged leads over the final few minutes and went into the break with Berks ahead, 51-49.
