Men's soccer drops non-conference tilt with Moravian

READING, PA (September 5, 2015) - Omar Guzman scored two spectacular goals, but it was not enough at the Penn State Berks men's soccer team dropped a 4-2 decision to visiting Moravian College on Saturday evening.

Guzman opened up the scoring at the 5:49 mark of the first half when Isaiah Danner sent a deep pass over the defense. Guzman was able to flip the ball up and over the keepers head as he came out of the box. Guzman's second goal came in the 30th minute and had a similar level of difficulty to it. T.J. Yurkovic and Guzman had a breakaway and the keeper was the last remaining line of defense. Yurkovic led Guzman with a pass from the middle of the field toward the sideline, Guzman took a long touch to get around the keeper and sent a grounder from the top right corner of the box to the far left corner of the goal.

The Greyhounds cut the lead in half with a goal off of a penalty kick in the 36th minute. Moravian then scored three unanswered goals in the second half to secure the victory.

Goalkeeper Kyle Baker finished the contest with 10 saves.

The Nittany Lions will return to action when they host Wesley College on Wednesday, September 9 at 7 p.m.
