Women's tennis falls to Immaculata in season opener

Box Score READING, PA (September 15, 2015) - The Penn State Berks women's tennis team opened up its fall portion of the 2015-16 schedule with a 6-3 setback to Immaculata University on Tuesday afternoon at Gring's Mills Tennis Courts.

The Nittany Lions fell behind 2-1 after doubles play, with Erin Ginther and Megan Antosy picking up the lone victory with an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles.

In singles action, Antosy won at the No. 3 flight by a score of 6-4, 7-5. Marje Robinson pulled out a three-set win at No. 6 by scores of 6-2, 4-6, 11-9.

The Nittany Lions will host Alvernia University on Wednesday, September 23 at 3:30 p.m.
