READING, PA (September 14, 2015) - In the 101st minute of Monday's contest, T.J. Yurkovic tallied his first goal of the season and propelled the Penn State Berks men's soccer team to a 3-2 win over Albright College in double overtime.

The Nittany Lions earned their first win of the season and first ever win over local foe Albright. Yurkovic took a few touches just outside the left side of the 18 yard box before unleashing a line drive over the keepers head and into the back right post at the 100:52 mark of the game.

Omar Guzman put the Berks on the board in the 9th minute with a low liner just inside the left post. Jon Mercier set up the play with a nice pass to Guzman through traffic. Toward the end of the first half Guzman assisted on Joe Budnovitch's first goal of the season, to create a 2-0 advantage.

Albright cut the lead in half in the 63rd minute and later tied it up with a goal at the 71:10 mark of the second half. Both teams had scoring chances down the stretch, with Yurkovic missing high on a header and Guzman clanking a shot off the cross bar. Ouwmar Diawara, who had an assist on both of Albright's scores, had a shot on goal saved by a diving Rotman Saltos in the 81st minute.

The Lions (1-3-1) had two shots on goal in the first overtime, but Saltos was there to make the stop. Saltos earned his first collegiate win in net after finishing the contest with six saves. Austin Aldinger also recorded six saves in net for Albright.

Berks had a 9-8 advantage in shots on goal and held a 10-8 advantage on corner kicks.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Immaculata University for a non-conference contest on Tuesday, September 15 at 4 p.m.
