Women's tennis cruises in regular season finale

Box Score BRYN ATHYN, PA (April 19, 2015) - The Penn State Berks women's tennis team played a near flawless match in a 9-0 victory over Bryn Athyn College in the regular season finale on Sunday afternoon. (Boxscore)

The Nittany Lions will enter the NEAC Championship as the second seed in the standings after finishing 7-9 overall and 6-1 in conference play.

Nandita Munindra and Lexi Vidal won 8-2 at No. 1 doubles, which was the only match of the day that was not a shutout. Megan Antosy and Erin Ginther (No. 2) and Cassidy Schultz and Liz Kurtz (No. 3) were 8-0 winners in their doubles bouts.

Vidal (No. 2), Kurtz (No. 3), and Marje Robinson (No. 4) were 6-0, 6-0 winners in each of their singles matches. Munindra (No. 1), Schultz (No. 5), and Ginther (No. 6) each had an 8-0 pro set victory in their respective matches.

The Nittany Lions will compete in the NEAC Championship on Saturday, April 25.
