Women's tennis keeps on its winning ways

Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, PA (April 18, 2015) - The Penn State Berks women's tennis team continued its dominance with a 9-0 win on the road over the Pennsylvania College of Technology in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Saturday afternoon. (Boxscore)

The No. 1 doubles team of Nandita Munindra and Lexi Vidal grabbed an 8-3 win, while Megan Antosy and Erin Ginther were 8-4 winners at second doubles. Liz Kurtz and Cassidy Schultz completed the doubles sweep with an 8-0 shutout at third doubles.

Antosy (No. 2), Kurtz (No. 3), and Schultz (No. 5) won their singles bouts by a 6-0, 6-0 margin. Marje Robinson (No. 4) and Ginther (No. 6) won their respective matches by a 6-0, 6-1 score. Munindra picked up a 6-2 win in the opening set before falling 2-6 to Melissa Stabley. Munindra then emerged with the victory after pulling out a 6-4 win in the decisive third set.

The Nittany Lions will finish off its regular season with a NEAC contest at Bryn Athyn College on Sunday, April 19 at 1 p.m.
