Women's tennis edged by Abington

Box Score ABINGTON, PA (March 29, 2015) - The Penn State Berks women's tennis team was narrowly edged, 5-4, on the road to Penn State Abington in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opener on Sunday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions led 2-1 after pulling out close wins in doubles action. Megan Antosy and Erin Ginther grabbed a 9-7 win at second doubles, while Cassidy Schultz and Florence Kurtz picked up a 9-8 win after taking the tiebreaker by a score of 9-7. Nandita Munindra won 6-1, 2-6, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, while Schultz took No. 6 singles 6-4, 6-0.

The Nittany Lions will host Lancaster Bible College in a NEAC contest on Tuesday, March 31 at 3:30 p.m.
