Men's basketball falls to Lancaster Bible

READING, PA (February 7, 2015) - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team suffered an 85-69 setback to Lancaster Bible College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Saturday afternoon at Beaver Community Center.

The Nittany Lions led through most of the first half and were ahead by as much as six points with 11:57 until intermission. But the Chargers evened the contest at 23-all with 9:57 left in the half and took the lead for with a 3-pointer on its ensuing possession. LBC led 52-41 at halftime, but both teams offenses cooled off with the Chargers outscoring Berks 33-28 in the final 20 minutes.

Dameon Nixon had 14 opints, eight rebounds, and five assists. Baba Waples notched 13 points and five boards, while Christian Burggraf had 11 points and four boards. Michael Aldridge tallied eight points and a team-high nine rebounds.

CJ Dunston led the Chargers with 18 points and eight rebounds.Alberg Suniga added 16 points, while Jordan Mellinger came off the bench for 12 points.

The Nittany Lions will host Penn State Abington in a NEAC contest on Wednesday, February 11 at 8 p.m. They will be teaming up with the women's team to host their annual Pink Game contest.
