Men's basketball downed by Cazenovia

READING, PA (January 17, 2015) - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team suffered a 92-77 setback to Cazenovia College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Saturday afternoon at Beaver Community Center.

The Wildcats were able to pull away down the stretch with success at the foul line. In total, they went 27-for-34 at the foul line and were 52.4% from 3-point range.

Christian Burggraf led the Nittany Lions with 24 points on 11-of-21 shooting from the floor. Baba Waples chipped in 16 points and Dameon Nixon added 14 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Joel Ellison had nine points, 10 boards, and three assists.

Keith C aiello and Daniel Cunningham each tallied 22 points to lead the Wildcats.

The Nittany Lions will host Morrisville State College in a NEAC contest on Sunday, January 18 at 2 p.m.
