Nittany Lions earn sweep over Penn Tech



WILLIAMSPORT, PA (September 30, 2014) - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team picked up another North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win after defeating Penn College of Technology, 3-0, on Tuesday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions (8-5, 4-1 NEAC) won by game scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-13 to earn their fourth consecutive win this season.

Sophia Zhang finished with a game-high 16 kills and had a .448 kill percentage. She also added six digs and a block assist. Heleanna Davison and Cassidy Schultz each added seven kills. Jordan Heath handed out a team-high 30 assists and Megan DeAbreu had 13 digs. Colby Jones had three service aces and Maria Pavone recorded two solo blocks.

The Nittany Lions will return to action with NEAC play on the campus of Penn State Abington this weekend. They will face the College of Saint Elizabeth on Saturday, October 3rd at 4 p.m. and Gallaudet University at 8 p.m.
