Women's tennis falls in season opener

Box Score IMMACULATA, PA (September 17, 2014) - The Penn State Berks women's tennis team opened up the fall portion of its schedule with an 8-1 loss to Immaculata University in a non-conference contest on Wednesday afternoon. (Boxscore)

The No. 1 doubles team of Nandita Munindra and Megan Antosy earned a hard fought 9-8 win. Munindra played strong at No. 1 singles, but fell by set scores of 6-4 and 7-5.

The Nittany Lions wll return to action when they travel to Alvernia University for a 3:30 p.m. contest.
