Women's tennis falls to Wells

Box Score Aurora, N.Y. (April 13, 2014) - The Penn State Berks women's tennis team suffered a 5-4 setback to Wells College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Sunday afternoon.

The doubles duo of Crystal Hitz and Nandita Munindra picked up an 8-1 win at No. 1 singles.

Hitz was also a 6-1, 6-2 winner at No. 1 singles. Munindra dropped her opening set 3-6, before winning 7-5 and taking the deciding tie breaker by a 10-5 score. Cassidy Schultz won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles to round out the Berks winners.

The Nittany Lions will host the College of Saint Elizabeth on Tuesday, April 15 at 3:30 p.m.
