Men's soccer blanks SUNY Cobleskill

READING, PA (October 18, 2014) - T.J. Yurkovic netted three goals and Hayden Rowe recorded three assists to lead the Penn State Berks men's soccer team to a 4-0 win over SUNY Cobleskill in a North Eastern Athletic Conference contest on Saturday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions took a 2-0 lead into the halftime intermission, with both scores coming from Yurkovic. He now has 10 goals scored this season, which leads the team and is the third most in a season in school history. Yurkovic's three goals and Rowe's three assists are both tied for the single-game high at Berks.

Anthony Kidron tallied the final goal of the game with a blast past the keeper through the left side of the net. Connor Mastricola added the assist on Yurkovic's second goal, with a beautiful cross past two defenders.

Kyle Baker earned the win and his first shutout of the year after recording one save.

The Nittany Lions will host SUNYIT on Sunday, October 19 at 2 p.m.
