Women's basketball falls to Mount Aloysius



READING, PA (November 30, 2013) - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team fell by a score of 81-56 to Mount Aloysius College in a non-conference contest on Saturday afternoon at Beaver Community Center. (Boxscore)

At halftime, Mount Aloysius led 42-24 after shooting 45.7% from the floor compared to 18.5% by the Nittany Lions. Another difference maker in the opening half was the 20-4 point in the paint advantage by the Mounties.

Shanelle Koch led the Nittany Lions with 13 points, followed by Kellie Wilson with 8 (4-for-4 from the foul line). Kiara Barbosa recorded seven points and a team-high nine boards, while Cassidy Schultz added seven points. Keisha Robinson collected seven of the Nittany Lions 19 steals.

Berks will travel to the College of Saint Elizabeth for a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Wednesday, December 4 at 7 p.m.
