Women's basketball drops opener to F&M



LANCASTER, PA (November 16, 2013) - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team fell, 86-53, to Franklin & Marshall College in the Terry Green Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday afternoon. (Boxscore)

The Nittany Lions (0-1) will face off against the loser the Elizabethtown College and Rutgers-Camden contest that is being played on Saturday evening.

Berks was led on offense by Kellie Wilson, who had a team-high 15 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the floor. The senior guard was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.

Freshman forward Khadijah Robinson made an impressive debut with nine points and nine rebounds. Nichole Young-Trapp, who finished with four points scored, also tied Robinson with a team-high nine rebounds. Senior Keisha Robinson finished the contest with seven points, six steals, and four rebounds.

The Nittany Lions will play at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow afternoon in the consolation round.
