Nittany Lions drop non-conference tilt with Muhlenberg



ALLENTOWN, PA (October 16, 2013) – The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Muhlenberg College in a non-conference contest on Wednesday evening at Memorial Hall. (Boxscore)

The Nittany Lions lost by game scores of 25-8, 25-20, 25-17 to fall to 10-10 on the season, while the Mules improved to 15-7 overall.

Sophia Zhang recorded a contest-high 10 kills to raise her season total up to 267. Cassidy Schultz and Heleanna Davison followed with six kills apiece. Jordan Heath handed out 20 assists, while Morgan Buterbaugh registered 15 digs.

The Nittany Lions will return to NEAC action with a trip to the College of Saint Elizabeth this weekend. They will face Cazenovia College on Friday at 3 p.m., followed by Keuka College (9 a.m.) and SUNY Cobleskill (3 p.m.) on Saturday.
