Women's volleyball fall in non-conference tilt to Moravian



READING, PA (September 27, 2012) - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 decision to Moravian College in a non-conference contest on Thursday evening at Beaver Community Center. (Boxscore)

The Nittany Lions (6-7) lost by game scores of 25-22, 25-11 before dropping the clinching set in a heartbreaking 29-27 defeat.

Kayla Mosser led Berks with six kills, while Cassidy Schultz added five. The squad compiled 64 digs with four players finishing in double-digits. Victoria Young led the team with 16, followed by Schultz (14), Abby Musselman (13), and Courtney Lucarelli(11). Musselman also handed out 20 assists.

The Nittany Lions will host a tri-match with Alvernia University and Cedar Crest College on Saturday morning. Berks will open up the day at 9 a.m. against Alvernia and finish with a 1 p.m. match against Cedar Crest.
