Men's soccer drops conference match to Cazenovia

CAZENOVIA, N.Y. (October 7, 2012) - The Penn State Berks men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 setback to Cazenovia College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Sunday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions battled strong throughout the match, but the Wildcats broke the scoreless tie with a goal at the 44:39 mark of the first half. Gregorie Ducasse scored the goal and Oleg Martynyuk added the assist. The duo combined for for the second goal just two minutes, six seconds into the second half.

Derek Dellalba recorded two shots on goal and Tim Petrowsky added one. Goalkeeper John Murphy finished the contest with eight saves to raise his season total to 90.

The Nittany Lions will host Penn State Abington on Saturday, October 13 at 3 p.m.
