Men's soccer fall on the road to Morrisville State

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. (October 6, 2012) - The Penn State Berks men's soccer team battled hard through the first half, but Morrisville State College used three unanswered goals to grab a 3-0 victory in Saturday afternoon's North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest. (Boxscore)

The Mustangs came out of the halftime intermission with a goal in the 45th minute. They tacked on another goal in the 71st minute and finished off the scoring in the 81st minute.

Goalkeeper John Murphy finished with eight saves for the Nittany Lions, five of which came in the first half. In 11 contests this season, Murphy has collected 82 saves.

Tim Petrowsky and Justin Bass each managed two shots on goal, but keeper Rob Larkin was there to make the save on both.

The Nittany Lions will face Cazenovia College on Sunday, October 6 at 3 p.m.
