UTICA, NY (September 24, 2011) – The Penn State Berks men's soccer team lost 3-0 to SUNYIT in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats (2-4-1, 2-0 NEAC) took a 1-0 lead into the intermission and tacked on two more in the second half.
Goalkeeper JONATHAN JABLONKA made eight saves, giving him 71 on the season.
Zachary Alesi recorded three shots, but was unable to find the back of the net. SETH STONER worked through the defense to create a strong scoring opportunity late in the second half, but the ball sailed wide left of the goal.
Berks will return to action tomorrow afternoon against SUNY Cobleskill beginning at noon.
