READING, PA (September 20, 2011) – The Penn State Berks men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Albright College in a non-conference match on Tuesday afternoon at Shirk Stadium.
Albright got on the board with an unassisted goal by Tyler Waters just 4:01 into the opening half. David Folino added a goal in the 24th minute to cap off the scoring. The 2-0 lead was more than enough for Albright as they outshot the Nittany Lions 33-1.
Berks keeper JONATHAN JABLONKA made numerous diving saves to keep the Nittany Lions in striking distance. Jablonka finished the contest with 12 saves, marking the third time this season he reached double-digits.
The Nittany Lions will travel to New York this weekend for North Eastern Athletic Conference matches. They will visit SUNYIT on Saturday, September 24 at 1 p.m., followed by SUNY Cobleskill on Sunday at noon.
