LANCASTER, PA (September 13, 2011) - SAVANNAH CRAMER had a career-high in saves, but it wasn't enough as the Penn State Berks women's soccer team fell 4-1 to Lancaster Bible in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest Tuesday afternoon.
After recording her first win and shutout in the Nittany Lions (1-3-1, 1-1-1 NEAC) win over Wells College on Sunday, the freshman keeper recorded 16 save in net. Cramer has compiled 34 stops in the five matches this season.
The Chargers (4-1, 3-0 NEAC) were relentless on offense with a 28-6 advantage in shots. Kathryn Ritter led with way with a goal and an assist. Ally Brown, Whitney Heise and Eveyln Stauffer each added goals for Lancaster Bible.
Sophomore LYNDSAY NAUGHTON tallied her first goal of the season for the Nittany Lions in the 57th minute. NATALIE WOODS, who had two goals over the weekend, provided the assist.
The Nittany Lions will host Wilson College in a NEAC contest on Saturday, September 17 at 1 p.m.
