The Phoenix then cut the score to 3-1 when Courtney Bernecker worked through traffic and put a shot into the left corner at the 31:23 mark.

Naughton and Woods scored quick goals in the second half, marking the first time either player had a multi-scoring game in their career.
Warner and Shumate each added unassisted goals in the second half. Marrs finished off the scoring in the 83rd minute with Naughton adding her final assist.
The defensive play of ASHLEY PARDOSKI, KARLY SHAFFERT, CHELSEA RAY and SAM RAIMONDO limited Wilson to four shots – three on goal. Freshman keeper SAVANNAH CRAMER picked up her second win this season. She finished the contest with two saves.
The Nittany Lions will enjoy a week off until they travel to New York for a pair of NEAC contests. Berks will take on SUNYIT on Saturday, September 24 (3 p.m.) and then SUNY Cobleskill on Sunday, September 25 (2 p.m.).
