Men's soccer fall to King's

WILKES-BARRE, PA (September 13, 2011) - The Penn State Berks men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 setback on the road to King's College in a non-conference contest on Tuesday evening.

The teams took a scoreless tie into the halftime intermission and the Monarch's didn't break through with a goal until the 75th minute. King's tacked on a final goal with 23 seconds remaining in the match.

JONATHAN JABLONKA made six saves for the Nittany Lions, while King's keeper Mark Labbadia stopped two shots. The Monach's held a 27-2 advantage in shots and held a 10-2 margin in corner kicks.

The Nittany Lions will return to action on Thursday, September 15 in a NEAC contest at Lancaster Bible. The match will begin at 3 p.m.
