BRYN MAWR, PA (September 20, 2010) - Four different players scored goals to help the Penn State Berks men's soccer team cruise to a 4-1 victory over Rosemont College in a nonconference contest on Monday afternoon.

After an eight-day layoff, the Nittany Lions came out of the gate on fire to pick up their first win of the 2010 season.

Just four minutes, 19 seconds into the match, ZACHARY ALESI redirected a pass from COLLIN MCCORMICK from 15-yards out for an early 1-0 lead. McCormick scored a goal of his own 20 minutes later on a free kick. BRYAN FELLIN capped off the first half scoring with an unassisted goal from 10 yards out.

Freshman JONATHAN JABLONKA was 12 minutes away from recording a shutout in net, but Ravens forward Tom Bottoms was able to cash in with an unassisted goal. Jablonka, making the first start of his college career, finished the contest with a season-high five saves.

Seth Stoner crossed a pass that ALEX STUNZ headed into net to put the match well out of reach in the 87th minute to secure the win. All of the Berks goals were the players first of the season.

The Lions held advantages in both corner kicks (4-3) and shots on goal (25-12). They also showed a lot more discipline in the second half with only two fouls, compared to nine committed in the first 45 minutes.

The men will host King's College at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20 before weekend NEAC matches against SUNY Cobleskill and SUNYIT.
