READING, PA (December 19, 2010) - Jasmine Harris-Kane and Steph Binder each scored 17 points for Penn State Berks, but Gallaudet remained undefeated with a 67-51 victory in Sunday's North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest at Beaver Community Center.
The Bison improved to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in the conference, while Berks falls to 3-6 overall and 2-4 in the NEAC.
Binder, who was honored before the contest for scoring her 1,000th career point last Saturday, brought down seven rebounds and recorded four blocks. Freshman guard Taylor Kreider notched nine points and pulled down a team-high nine rebounds.
Gallaudet was led by Easter Faafiti's 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Nukeitra Hayes chipped in 13 points and 13 boards.
The Nittany Lions struggled from beyond the arc, shooting 15.8 %. All three of the 3-poiners were made by Harris-Kane.
Penn State Berks will return to action on Saturday, January 8 against SUNY Morrisville in a 1 p.m. NEAC contest.
