CHAMBERSBURG, PA (October 21, 2010) - The Penn State Berks women's soccer team went on a scoring frenzy to defeat Wilson College, 12-1, in a North Eastern Athletic Conference contest on Thursday afternoon.

The high-octane scoring tandem of freshmen Taylor Kreider and Alyssa Scheidt accounted for ten of the Berks goals. Kreider tallied six to raise her season total to 23, while Scheidt's four put her at 16.
LYNDSAY NAUGHTON and Kathleen O'Kane each notched first-half goals. Naughton and Bri Arnold each doled out two assists, O'Kane and Natalie Woods each recorded one. It was the first goal and assist for O'Kane this season.
ARI FUENTES was the only Nittany Lion to record a point that was not a freshman, with an assist on one of Scheidt's two second half goals.
Wilson keeper Kathryn Murphy made 20 saves in net, while Cassidy Dawson had one.
The Lions will return home for their regular-season finale against Penn Gallaudet on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
