Melissa Bennett's strong defensive play helped the Nittany Lions to a 1-0 victory over Keuka College in the NEAC quarterfinal round. The shutout victory over the Storm was the seventh of the season for the Nittany Lions. With the help of Bennett and the fellow defensive unit, Savannah Cramer only needed to make one save in the winning effort. In a loss to Lancaster Bible in the NEAC semifinals, Bennett shut down the conference's leading scorer throughout the contest. All season long the Nittany Lions received strong defensive output from Bennett, Sam Raimondo, Ashley Pardoski, Karly Shaffert and Katie Warner.
