Penn State Berks Athletics

Laszlo Balazs completed his fifth year as the head coach and eighth with the Penn State Berks men's soccer program in the 2011 season.

Balazs brings a wealth of knowledge of the game, after playing professionally from 1982-92. At the age of 16, he began his professional career in Romania. He played for the FC Baia-Mare, AS Baia-Sprie, Olimpia Baia-Mare.

Balazs also played professionally in Hungary with the FC Balatonfured 2nd Division and in Austria with the Deutschkreutz AM See.

He is a 1985 graduate of Baia-Mare, in Romania. In 1996 he received his Uefa B coaching license.

Born in Romania in 1966, he and his wife have a son named Michael.
