Career: Tantala finished off his storied four-year career as one of the top players in program history for both hitting and pitching. He ranks third all-time with a .343 career batting average, while his .481 slugging percentage is the fourth highest. Tantala ranks among the top-10 offensively in hits (97), RBI (68), doubles (23), triples (2), home runs (4), on-base percentage (.404), total bases (136). On the mound, Tantala is the career leader with 10 complete games. He rank third all-time with 12 wins, while his 149.1 innings pitched are the fourth most. Tantala ranks amongst the top-10 in innings pitched (149.1), ERA (4.70), strikeouts (66), games started (22), and appearances (31).

2014: Started and played 34 games during his senior season...selected as an All-NEAC Second Team honoree...batted .314 (37-for-118) with 11 doubles, one triple, two home runs, 28 RBI, and 17 runs scored...led the team in slugging percentage (.475), sacrifice flies (5), and putouts (181)...had 12 multi-hit games, including four against Cazenovia College...hit safely in nine of the final 10 games of the season, batting .342 in that span...started six games on the mound and made two relief appearances...went 3-4 with a 6.37 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 35.1 innings of work...his finest pitching performance of the season was a complete-game, seven hitter against SUNYIT...he allowed three runs - one earned - and struck out two batters...the right-hander also pitched 3.1 innings of relief to earn a crucial win over Gallaudet University.

2013: Started in and played 35 games as a junior…was an All-NEAC First Team selection for the first time in his career…led the team and the NEAC with a .405 batting average…his batting average was 61st in the nation, while his .485 on-base percentage was 85th…also led the offense in home runs (2), RBI (29), slugging percentage (.550) and tied for the team lead in hits (45)…had 10 doubles, 22 runs scored, and 12 walks…ended the season on an eight game hitting streak…had 15 multi-hit games, including a 4-for-4 effort against Penn State Abington…helped Berks reach the conference tournament by going 12-for-16 in the final four games of the regular season…recorded 210 putouts, 12 assists and only committed one error for a .996 fielding percentage…started in all six of his pitching appearances…was 3-3 with a 4.41 ERA in 34.2 innings of work…tossed four complete games…recorded 13 strikeouts.

2012: Appeared in and started seven games at pitcher as a sophomore…went 3-4 with a 4.50 ERA in 42.0 innings pitched…tied for the team lead with 25 strikeouts and his three complete games were the second most…was the winning pitcher in the Nittany Lions win over Gallaudet University in the NEAC West Division Championship game…saw significant time at first base and DH…batted .316 (12-for-38) with two doubles, one triple, 10 RBI and three runs scored…had a .421 slugging percentage and a .357 on-base percentage.

2011: Emerged as one of the top pitcher’s down the stretch for the Nittany Lions…fired a nine inning, complete game win over Gallaudet in the NEAC Western Division Semi-Final…had a 3-0 record with 16 strikeouts and a 3.62 ERA in 37.1 innings of work…made 10 appearances and two of his three starts were complete games…batted .188 (3-for-16) with an RBI and a run scored.
